Underwater Wonders Raffle 2024
This page sets out the terms of participation in the “Busselton Jetty Environment Foundation Underwater Wonders Raffle.”
General Terms & Conditions
- The promoter of this Raffle is Busselton Jetty Inc (the “Promoter”) (ABN 87 30 7179 949) of 17 Foreshore Parade Busselton WA 6280, Australia.
- Each entry must be entered in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
- By entering the Raffle, each Entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
- The Promoter may in its discretion refuse to award any prize to any Entrant who fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- This raffle is governed by the laws of Western Australia.
- All relevant instructions on the Promoter’s website form part of these Terms and Conditions.
Terms of Entry & Eligibility
- Entry to the Raffle is open to all Australian residents (Entrant).
- An Entrant must be an individual and not a company or organisation.
- Entrants can enter the Raffle as many times as desired.
- The Winner will be asked to provide matching photo ID.
- Entrants must be 18 years or older to enter the Raffle. Board of Management and Employees of the Promoter or any person associated with the organisation of the Raffle, or any organisation or individual associated with the provision of the prize(s), are not eligible to enter.
- To enter in the Raffle, participants must pay the Raffle ticket price in full and complete all details required on the entry form. Incomplete tickets are not eligible to win.
- A percentage of proceeds of this lottery will be paid to SupporterHub Pty Ltd as a professional fundraiser. For any enquiries contact Busselton Jetty Inc on the permit holder’s phone number.
Raffle Dates
- Raffle starts at 9:00am AWST on Saturday 1st June, 2024.
- Raffle ends at 4:00pm AWST on Wednesday 31st July, 2024.
Prizes
- First prize: 1 x Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory sleep over for 2 adults.
- Second prize: 1 x Busselton Jetty Licence Plate – “999JETTY”
- Third prize: 1 x Busselton Jetty retail voucher – $500 retail value
- Runner up prize: 50 x Busselton Jetty Light on the Water coffee table books – $29 retail value
Prize Conditions
- Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory sleep over for 2 adults valid for 36 months after the date of the prize draw. Date to be negotiated between Busselton Jetty Inc. and Winner based on business operational requirements. Exclusion dates apply, final date to be at the discretion of Busselton Jetty Inc.
- Busselton Jetty Licence Plate “999JETTY” valid for 36 months after the date of the prize draw. Plate to be made in the size and style as advertised. The plate must be registered under the name of a valid Australian driver’s licence holder, and a registered vehicle is required for plate collection and transfer. Winner will be required to complete the Department of Transport(DoT) Customer Application and Transfer of Right to Display (VL176) Forms. Busselton Jetty Inc. will facilitate plate purchase on the Winner’s behalf and will cover the of payment of the applicable DoT transfer fee of $101.10. Additional forms or fees may be imposed by DoT for collection of the plate, Busselton Jetty Inc. does not accept any liability for any additional costs the Winner may incur as a result.
- Busselton Jetty retail voucher valued at $500 is valid for 36 months after the date of the prize draw and can be redeemed on retail items within the Busselton Jetty Interpretive Centre and Underwater Observatory.
- Busselton Jetty Light on the Water book is valid for 36 months can be redeemed via in-person collection at Busselton Jetty.
- ALL Prizes are NOT redeemable for cash or credit, however all prizes can be transferred to another person.
Raffle Winners & Contacting the Winners
- The Winner is determined by an online random generator. The Entrant name or ticket number drawn is final.
- The Winners will be required to provide matching photo ID.
- The Winners will be announced on Monday 5th August, 2024 at 10am AWST via Busselton Jetty Website, Instagram, and Facebook pages.
- The Winners will be contacted via phone and email by Busselton Jetty Inc.
Publicity
- It is a condition of accepting the prize/s that BJI has the right to publicise the winners for any promotion or matter incidental to the raffle, if required.
- If the winner/s choose to accept the prize/s, by accepting the prize/s the winner is agreeing to participate in any news or media activity surrounding the raffle (including at the time of redeeming the prizes) and the publication of their name and entry on BJI’s website, social media sites and other marketing material owned by BJI.
Disclaimer
- Neither BJI nor any of its personnel, will be responsible or liable if for any reason beyond their reasonable control any element of any prize is not provided.
- Neither BJI nor any of its personnel, will be liable to any person for any loss or damage sustained or incurred if, for any reason, the raffle is suspended, varied or terminated at any time, with or without prior warning or publicity.
- BJI is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by a third party connected with this raffle.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
Reserved Rights
- BJI’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the raffle will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- If for any reason this raffle is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of BJI which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this raffle, BJI reserves the right to:
(a) cancel the raffle;
(b) continue the raffle in some other way or under different terms and conditions; or
(c) in its sole discretion, disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process. - BJI to the extent permitted by law, assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
Privacy
- BJI will collect and handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. If required BJI may contact entrants asking them to provide further information to verify their entry.
- By entering the raffle, you consent to BJI using your personal information submitted to contact you directly about news, events, promotions, products, and general information in relation to the organisation. This may be via sms or email. You may unsubscribe from the Busselton Jetty Inc mailing list at any time.
