Busselton Jetty has two webcams, both are within the Underwater Observatory, one facing North (North cam) and the other facing South (South cam).
When viewing the South Cam, you will be able to see a single timber pile. When visibility is excellent other timber piles can also be seen in the background. A myriad of invertebrates live on this timber pile – view the fluffy telesto corals and bright blue, yellow, and orange sea sponges. A small dark brown or black fish called Scalyfin call this pile home and can often be seen darting around the structure.
The North Cam faces four windows on the seafloor. During the Busselton Jetty business hours, you will be able to see the Underwater Observatory Tour in progress. Occasionally, a curious Western Blue Groper may swim up to the windows. Keep an eye out because you might also see one of the several species of sea star that often attach themselves to the windows.
